Custom Grillz Process (4 Steps)

1.  Place your order: Once all the selections are made, including details like Gold Type, Color, Number of Teeth, Position of the Teeth, we will ship a mold kit straight to your door within 2-4 days.

2. Get your Mold Kit & Send Your Impression: A clean impression is vital for that perfect fit. Take a mold of your teeth by following the enclosed instructions.  Then send it back using the prepaid postage.

3. We handcraft your custom Grillz: Once we receive your mold, our team goes to work creating your custom piece.  Please allow 7-14 days for delivery.

4. Ready to flex Your Shine!: You will have your perfectly fitted & ready-to-wear grillz! 

Custom Grillz are made-to-order products.  Refund eligibility depends on the order age, the work already completed, and the stage of the custom process.

• Before the Mold Kit is shipped: you may be eligible for a full refund
• After the Mold Kit has been shipped: Once the mold kit has been shipped, a full refund is no longer available.  A $50 mold kit fee and shipping cost will apply.
• Requests for a refund to the original payment method must be submitted within 60 days of the order date.  All other requests thereafter will receive a store credit after applicable deductions.
• After Mold Return or Approval, or Production Start: Once the completed mold is received and approved, the custom processing is considered to have begun, and the 15% setup and Production reservation fee will apply
• After Physical Production has Begun: Once physical production has begun, the order becomes final sale and is no longer eligible for cancellation, refund, or store credit due to personal preference, change of mind, timing change, or requested design changes.

Fit-related concerns must be reported within 14 days of delivery.

We are not responsible for fit issues caused by inaccurate molds provided by the customer, poor mold quality, dental changes, customer modification, improper use, misuse, or failure to follow instructions.

If a confirmed fitting or production defect qualifies under our policy, we may offer a one-time adjustment or remake. Eligibility depends on the product style, design complexity, mold quality, and the root cause of the issue (production error vs. customer-supplied mold/details). Approved adjustments or remakes may be subject to additional fees for replacement mold kits, shipping, insurance, or labor.

Custom grillz are removable, decorative fashion jewelry. They are not medical, dental, or orthodontic devices and should never substitute for professional dental care.

• 1. No Dental or Medical Services: We do not diagnose, treat, or supervise oral procedures. We supply mold kits solely for manufacturing fit; consult a licensed dentist before ordering if you have any dental concerns.

• 2. Usage Restrictions: Never wear grillz while eating, sleeping, exercising, playing sports, or drinking very hot liquids. Remove them immediately if they feel loose or pose an impact/choking risk.

• 3. No Adhesives or Modifications: Do not use glue, bonding agents, or adhesives of any kind to secure grillz. Never bend, cut, grind, or force-fit the jewelry yourself.

• 4. Discontinue If Discomfort Occurs: Remove grillz immediately if you experience pain, bleeding, swelling, pressure, or irritation. Those with braces, retainers, implants, or gum issues should consult a dentist before use.

• 5. Materials & Metal Allergies: Pieces may contain gold, silver, rhodium plating, base metals (including nickel), or gemstones. Review all materials prior to ordering; customers assume responsibility for personal metal sensitivities and allergies.

• 6. Minors & Children: Grillz are not intended for young children. Orders for minors require parental/guardian consent, assessment, and direct supervision.

• 7. Customer Responsibility: By purchasing, you agree to submit accurate impressions, follow all wear/care instructions, and wear the jewelry responsibly at your own discretion.

Mold Kit Delivery

• Dispatch: Ships within 24 hours of placing your order.

• Transit Time: Typically arrives in 2–4 business days, depending on your location.

Finished Grillz Delivery

• Production Timeline: For custom grillz, crafting begins only after we receive, review, and approve your impression. 

• Dispatch: Once production is complete, your finished grillz will ship directly to the address provided at checkout.

• Transit Time: Delivery estimates vary based on your destination and the shipping method selected at checkout.

ORDERING & IMPRESSIONS

Do I need to visit a dentist for my mold?

No. You have two easy options.

GTA Home Mold Kit: Order your grillz online, and we will send you an easy-to-use GTA Mold Kit. Follow the included instructions to take your impressions at home, then send them back to us for production.

In-Store Impression: Visit Gold Teeth America in Dallas, and our team can take a professional dental-grade impression for your custom grillz.

*A good impression is one of the most important steps in creating a comfortable and secure fitting set of grillz.

How do I get my teeth impression taken?

You can visit our Dallas shop to have your impression taken in person or order online and use our GTA Mold Kit at home.

Our home kit includes step-by-step instructions to help you take an accurate impression. Once we receive your molds, our team will inspect them before beginning production.

If your impression is not clear enough to produce an accurate fit, we may ask you to take another impression.

Can I order grillz from outside the USA?

Absolutely. We accept international orders.

1. Place Your Order: Choose your custom grillz and place your order. We will ship a GTA Grillz Mold Kit to your international address.

2. Take Your Impressions: Follow the included instructions to take your dental impressions.

3. Return Your Molds: Ship your completed impressions back to Gold Teeth America in Dallas. International customers are responsible for return shipping unless otherwise stated with the order.

4. We Make Your Grillz: Once your impressions are received and approved, our team will begin crafting your custom grillz.

5. Final Shipping: Once completed, your finished custom grillz will be shipped back to you.

International shipping times, customs fees, duties, and import requirements vary by country.

How do I get a quote and design for my grillz?

Getting a quote for your custom grillz is easy.

Build Your Grillz Online: Select your number of teeth, metal, gold purity, finish, stones, and available design options directly on our website. Pricing updates based on the options you select.

We offer 925 sterling silver and 10K, 14K, 18K, and 22K solid gold, along with a variety of diamond and Moissanite options.

What is the difference between Deep Cut and Perm Cut grillz?

Both styles create more separation and definition between the individual teeth, but they produce different looks.

Deep Cut: Features pronounced carved V-shaped grooves between the teeth. The deeper separation creates stronger definition and shadowing while keeping the grillz connected as one custom-fitted piece.

Perm Cut: Cut deeper into the areas between the teeth to create the appearance of individually separated crowns. This gives the grillz a more defined, individual-tooth appearance similar to permanent-style gold teeth while remaining removable.

Both styles are custom-made from your dental impressions. If you are unsure which style to choose, our team can help you before production.

What happens if I wait too long to send my molds back?

All orders have a 90-day validity period.

Precious metal prices fluctuate frequently, so we cannot hold custom orders open indefinitely.

90 Day Deadline: Your completed molds must be returned within 90 days of receiving your GTA Mold Kit.

Abandoned Orders: Orders exceeding the 90-day period without the required molds being returned may be classified as abandoned and closed.

Refunds: Abandoned custom orders are nonrefundable in accordance with our custom order policy.

Starting Again: If your order has been closed after the 90-day period, a new order must be placed at the current price.

We recommend completing and returning your impressions as soon as possible after receiving your mold kit.

FIT & DENTAL CONDITIONS

Can I get grillz if I have a missing tooth?

Yes. Because every set is custom-made from your dental impressions, we can often design grillz to accommodate missing teeth, gaps, chips, and other variations in your smile.

Depending on your dental structure and design, we may also be able to create the appearance of a more complete, uniform smile.

I have a permanent retainer wire. Can I still get grillz?

In many cases, yes.

We regularly work with customers who have bonded retainer wires. Your dental impression lets us see your retainer's position and design the grillz to fit your existing dental structure.

Because every case is different, please let our team know about your retainer before production begins.

My teeth are crooked or have gaps. Can I still wear grillz?

Yes. Custom grillz are created specifically for your individual teeth.

Your grillz are designed from your dental impressions rather than being made to a generic tooth shape. Depending on your dental structure, we can also contour the exterior of the grillz to create a more uniform visual appearance.

Your final design will depend on your individual teeth, bite, and the grillz style you select.

Can I eat while wearing my grillz?

We recommend removing your removable grillz before eating.

Chewing can place unnecessary pressure on the grillz and may bend thin metal edges, loosen stones, damage detailed designs, or trap food between your grillz and natural teeth.

Remove your grillz before eating, and put them back in after you clean your teeth.

Can I drink while wearing my grillz?

Water is generally the safest option while wearing removable grillz.

We recommend removing your grillz when consuming sugary, acidic, or strongly colored beverages. Liquids can become trapped between your teeth and grillz, while certain beverages may contribute to discoloration or tarnishing, particularly with sterling silver.

Can I smoke while wearing my grillz?

We recommend removing your grillz before smoking.

Smoke, heat, and residue can discolor the metal and create buildup on the interior and exterior surfaces of your grillz. Regular exposure may be especially noticeable on sterling silver.

Can I wear my grillz 24 hours a day?

No. Removable grillz are cosmetic jewelry and should be removed regularly for cleaning and oral hygiene.

We recommend removing your grillz before sleeping, eating, brushing your teeth, and performing your normal dental hygiene routine.

Always keep your grillz in a safe case when you are not wearing them.

How long do grillz last?

High-quality solid gold grillz can last for many years with proper care. Their lifespan depends on the metal, design, wear frequency, maintenance, and how you handle them.

Solid gold does not tarnish like sterling silver, making it an excellent material for long-term grillz.

Sterling Silver: 925 sterling silver naturally oxidizes and may tarnish over time from exposure to air, moisture, and normal wear. This is a normal characteristic of genuine sterling silver and does not mean your grillz are defective.

Regular cleaning and appropriate silver polishing can restore their shine.
